Jutexpo raise £25,000 for CLDF!
CLDF were really delighted to be chosen as Jutexpo’s charity partner for 2016. The family-run company first became aware of the work of the charity when five year old Emily, daughter of Compliance Director, Sam and granddaughter of Managing Director, Barrie Turner, was born with the rare and life threatening liver disease, biliary atresia. Following a liver transplant at the age of just six months, she is now doing well but the family are grateful for the support they received from CLDF and keen that it should be available for every family in that situation. They chose to support CLDF for a second year after such a fantastic fundraising year in 2015.
The Jutexpo team have taken part in mud runs, half marathons, organised bake sales and even dressed up as Snow White to help raise lots of pennies for the charity. In October they held their ‘A Great Way to Make a Difference’ Ball at the Bank House in Worcester which raised an incredible £25,000.
We can’t thank them enough for all the support they have shown CLDF. It has been brilliant working with all the team over the past 12 months and the money raised makes this one of CLDF biggest partnerships.
