Here is a sample of just a few….

• Richard Mellen has organised a mammoth event in his local town, encompassing 100 local businesses. He has also been busy starring on the radio and in the local and regional press. If you are passing through Malton, be sure to pop into Savilles Cook Shop and take part in the tombola – you could win one of over 80 fantastic prizes!

• Donna Bowen is holding an event on Saturday 8th in Wittering Walk. There will be face painting, a cake stall, hook a duck and tombola. Not only that, but Donna is kindly donating 10% of the takings from her shop, Bella Pink!

• Lisa McNaughton has organised two events for Big Yellow Friday. At work, Lisa and her colleagues are having an eat, drink and wear something yellow day. Lisa’s two daughters will be joining their friends at nursery for a fun filled day with lots of yummy yellow cakes being sold!

• Dowlands School is one of many schools holding a wear something yellow day on Friday. Lisa Lewis, a CLDF ambassador, has also arranged press coverage for the school’s activities and will also be giving a talk at another local school. Lisa is just one of many mum’s who are going to be having a very busy day!

• CLDF’s newest ambassador, Andy Thurston, is holding two collections in her local area on Thursday and Friday. Look out for the giant banana if you are driving through Norwich!
