Big Yellow Friday couldn't be more simple! Organise or take part in a fundraising event with a yellow theme - large or small - on or around Friday, 5 March 2010.

This page will show you what support is available and help you work with CLDF, help you publicise your event, show you how to pay your money in help you keep your fundraising safe, legal and fun!

Event Guides

Our fundraising team have put together some Event Guides to help you along the way. You can see this by clicking ‘Event Guides’ at the bottom of the page.

Materials & Downloads

There are posters, invitations, balloons, certificates and a number of other materials that will help promote your event and make it a success on the day. Click ‘Materials & Downloads’ to find out what is available online. To order other materials download the postal form found in the Big Yellow Friday 2010 Flyer (4mb).

Local Media and Publicity

The media can:

  1. Help promote your event
  2. Help raise awareness that children get liver disease
  3. Help promote CLDF

If you want to make a difference you can download template press releases in the ‘Materials & Downloads’ page below. There is one for before your event (which is best if you want to get people to turn up) and one for sharing your success with your community.

Simply fill in the blanks and get in touch with your local newspaper, radio, TV station and anyone else you can think of.

Paying in Your Money

There are some simple ways to pay in your money:

1. Send a cheque, postal order or CAF voucher (please do not send cash) made payable to CLDF at 36 Great Charles St, Birmingham, B3 3JY

2. Pay online using justgiving.com/byf2010

3. Pay in at your local branch of Bank of Scotland, or online, account name: Children's Liver Disease Foundation; account number: 00181442: sort code; 12-05-65

4. Call CLDF (0121 212 3839) and pay in using a debit or credit card

If you use options 1,2 or 3 please tell us how you raised the money so we can acknowledge receipt and send your certificate
