CLDF bursary scheme

CLDF paediatric hepatlogy nurses & allied health professionals education bursary scheme

The trustees of Children’s Liver Disease Foundation will make available £10,000 per annum for a Paediatric Hepatology Nurses and Allied Health Professionals Education Grants Scheme.  This bursary scheme is available to nurses and allied health professionals who work in paediatric hepatology and wish to attend conferences in the UK and abroad for their continuing medical education.  CLDF will also accept applications from other hospital based staff working within a paediatric liver unit.

The money will be distributed quarterly with a maximum of £2,500 being awarded in any one quarter.  Applicants may apply for up to £1,000 in a quarter.  Successful applicants will not normally be eligible to apply for a further year following a bursary being made.

The trustees will look favourably on those applications where the candidates can show that they can add value to the contribution made by CLDF.

Funds will not be awarded retrospectively.

Grant Rounds
Throughout the year there will be four grant rounds:

 1 April   –   30 June
 1 July   –   30 September
 1 October   –   31 December
 1 January   –   31 March
