Gift Aid

As part of the Gift Aid scheme it is now possible for charities to reclaim the tax you pay on your donation if you are a basic rate tax payer.  This means that for every £1 you give, CLDF can claim an extra 28p from the tax man at current tax rates - and it won't cost you a penny extra. 

If you are a 40% tax payer you will also be able to reclaim the difference between the basic rate of tax and the higher rate.
