Catherine Arkely, Chief Executive, is CLDF’s media spokesperson. 

Catherine was appointed Chief Executive in 1991.  She has since developed CLDF from a small children’s charity into a national organisation supporting families and clinicians. 

Catherine is an authority on paediatric liver disease and an eloquent speaker on:

o the history and work of the Foundation
o the wide range of liver diseases affecting children and young people
o research funding issues
o factors affecting families and young people with liver disease
o how to educate healthcare professionals to recognise signs and symptoms of liver disease
