For the period Oct 07 – Dec 07, CLDF received three small grant project applications which are outlined below.

These are currently being assessed by the Scientific Committee and the outcome of the awards are expected in late January 2008.

Applications:

Application by: Dr Alastair Baker – Paediatric Liver Unit - King’s College Hospital, London
Project: Development of a portable device to detect acholic stools from jaundiced infants for use in primary care.

Application by: Mr Graham Gordon – Paediatric Liver Unit - Birmingham Children’s Hospital
Project: Immunogenicity of Hep B vaccination in infants with Biliary Atresia after Kasai Portoenterostomy & uptake of complex vaccinations in children with Biliary Atresia after Kasai portoenterostomy
