Prescription charges from 1 April 2009, the charges are:

Prescription: £7.20
12-month prepayment certificate (PPC): £104.00
3-month PPC: £28.25

Dependent on your or you and your partners household income you may be eligible for child tax or working tax credits, further information can be found at http://www.taxcredits.inlandrevenue.gov.uk/Qualify/WhatAreTaxCredits.aspx
