An introduction to 'Supporting Families' tab | Memorial service

One vital element of CLDF’s support programme is the memorial service which takes place every two years in Birmingham.

The service gives family members the opportunity to commemorate and celebrate their child’s life in a supportive environment – whether their child has died recently or many years ago - and includes readings, songs and time for quiet personal reflection with each service having a special theme.

After the service there is time for families to share experiences and chat with CLDF’s support officers and staff over tea and cakes. Many bereaved families attend on each occasion and find the service a great comfort.

The next service will take place on  Saturday 21 June 2008.  More details can be found on the 2008 memorial service page.
