Regional Family Evenings
CLDF Regional Family Evenings give parents and carers, young people and other family members the chance: • To talk and share with others affected by childhood liver disease • To hear a medical update in an easy to understand way • To ask the questions that matter to you and your child • For young people to meet • To hear how CLDF is helping you and your family • To tell CLDF what services you need Evenings are informal and held at a local hotel. Forthcoming regional evenings:Glasgow (Ramada Jarvis, city centre) - Monday 2 June 2008Dr Alastair Baker from King's College Hospital, London will be giving an update on childhood liver disease and will answer questions on the night. The provisional programme includes: 6.00pm for 6.30pm Arrival - tea, coffee and biscuits 6.30pm – 6.45pm CLDF welcome and introduction 6.45pm – 6.55pm Fighting childhood liver disease through fundraising 6.55pm – 7.00pm A local CLDF Champion’s perspective 7.00pm – 8.00pm Support families and young people & discussion 8.00pm – 8.20pm Tea, coffee and cake, and the opportunity to chat 8.20pm – 8.30pm Making the public aware of childhood liver disease 8.30pm – 9.30pm Advances in childhood liver disease - Dr Alastair Baker 9.30pm Close

There is no cost for attending a regional family evening.
