Support for children and families pre and post transplant

The CLDF support team is available for information, advice and to provide a listening ear for families whose child may be facing a liver transplant, or those going through the many ups and downs which may be experienced after the operation takes place – sometimes many years later.

CLDF has produced a leaflet, ‘Liver transplantation -an overview’ which is available to families.  This can be ordered online or by calling 0121 212 3839.

CLDF has also produced a ‘stepping stones in liver transplantation’ series of information which is available via the medical teams at the three main paediatric liver units at Birmingham, Leeds and London.  This pack gives more detailed information for those facing liver transplantation.
