Swimmers ready for the triathlon

Children's Liver Disease Foundation is delighted to be the charity partner for the VO2 Max Racing Events series for 2018. Anyone wishing to take part and raise funds for CLDF will receive 20% discount on entry fees. Whether you're new to multisport events, want to take part as a team or a seasoned triathlete, there's something for everyone.

Sunday 3rd June 2018 - Northumberland Triathlon

  • Druridge Bay Visitors Centre, Druridge Bay, Northumberland, NE61 5BX
  • Start time: 8.00am
  • Minimum age: 15/17 years old depending on event
 

Druridge Bay Country Park is situated on the beautiful Northumbrian coast and is the perfect venue for a great day out. Located right next to a stunning bay, on a beautiful stretch of Northumberland coastline, it's a popular place to ride, cycle, walk, paddle and surf and perfect for a family day out. This is a superb venue for a first class event and will attract a large number and wide range of competitors into both the Sprint and Standard distances.

  • Sprint Triathlon - Distance: 750m swim / 20km bike / 5km run
  • Standard Triathlon - Distance: 1.5km swim / 40km bike / 10km run
  • Sprint Relay - Distance: 750m swim / 20km bike / 5km run
  • Standard Relay - Distance: 1.5km swim / 40km bike / 10km run
 

Sunday 15th July 2018 - Woodhorn Museum Sprint Triathlon

  • Start time: 8.00am
  • Minimum age: 15 years old
 

This ever lasting favourite is held in the grounds of the stunning Woodhorn Museum and Northumberland Archives. Woodhorn Museum is a Scheduled Ancient monument and here you can discover over 800 years of history and a range of fantastic events, activities and exhibits for all the family. Woodhorn Museum is located on the southern edge of the Queen Elizabeth II Country Park which boasts a 16 hectare shallow, freshwater lake. It is a unique and stunning location for our Triathlon and it has everything you need to make this a superb family day out!
